This former sewage treatment plant is a listed industrial building in the German industrial town of Krefeld. The building was designed by architect George 'Jörg' Bruggaier. It is considered an architecturally significant example of Art Nouveau. The plant, built between 1908 and 1910, treated the sewage of the entire city of Krefeld. It is one of the last remaining treatment plants from the early days of urban wastewater treatment systems in Germany.

Until 1962, the purification plant was used in its original state. From then until 1996, it continued to operate exclusively as a pumping station – due to the installation of Archimedes screws. In 1996, the entire complex was replaced by an adjacent new pumping station. Next to the large hall (main building), containing, among other things, two sewer channels, an overflow channel, and the hall crane, the lime pumping station (machine room) is also located there.

At the rear of the site is the manager's residence, built in 1921/1922 according to the plans of the architect Anton Rumpen. The original sluice house is still in the possession of the Krefeld municipal company for sewer engineering reasons and currently serves as access to the rainwater flooding system.
