I'll stay with the Volvos for a little while longer. After the series about the Volvo Workshop from a month ago, I came across another collection of Volvos in this part of the Ardennes. These classics are standing in a small patch of woods behind a car dealership. The business specializes in the restoration of vintage cars. In the showroom stands a fully restored example of the 1963 Volvo PV540. In the small wood, two stand side by side. These two examples were likely used for salvaging parts.
Furthermore, there is also a beautiful Volvo P1800S. Well, that’s enough... That one probably dates from somewhere in the mid-1960s as well. The rest of the cars remaining are of a later date. Naturally, no example of the DAF could be missing from the collection. Volvo acquired the passenger car division of this brand in 1974 and integrated it into its own collection.
For classic car enthusiasts, this is a very nice discovery.
