Villa SS did not receive its name due to any affiliation with Hitler's Schutzstaffel. In fact, it is derived from the street in which it is situated. The villa was built in the 1970s by the owners of the nearby textile factory and was abandoned several years ago. The thatched roof has given way in several places.
