We stumbled upon this abandoned villa rather by accident, on our way from one location to another. The villa, along with several similar villas on the same street, was originally part of a psychiatric institution for children with anxiety disorders and depression, among other things. The villas became vacant when the institution moved to a new complex just down the street. Little or nothing remains of the origins and history of these houses. Although the villa was vacant, it displayed a beautiful, naturally dilapidated appearance.
