Older photo reports of this abandoned villa portray a house full of clutter. So, I didn't have high expectations for this visit, but since we were passing by on our way to another location anyway, we decided to stop and take a look. Except for a few larger pieces of furniture, the house appears to have been largely emptied. That was a welcome surprise, because what remains is a villa that had clearly been left to the elements for many years, and where decay has been able to manifest itself beautifully.
