Read moreIn this abandoned and dilapidated villa—where, strangely enough, water and electricity still work—there's little to suggest it was once occupied by a doctor. Anything remotely resembling a doctor's office is no longer visible. Only an old chest on the landing, overflowing with prescription booklets, reveals the former resident's profession. Nothing is known about the doctor and his family. The abundance of bedrooms and bathrooms suggests a large family once lived here, but it's the grand salon, with its opulent Persian carpet and beautiful classical murals, that truly captures the imagination.
