Abandoned houses are generally not really my thing. In most cases, they have been staged by people who wrongly call themselves 'urban explorers'. As a result, there is usually very little originality left. Moreover, there are often still a lot of personal belongings of the former resident(s) present. Consequently, a visit feels more like a invasion of privacy than an urban explore...
Nevertheless, I am sometimes happy to make an exception. For example, when it concerns a cottage that shows beautiful natural decay and has not yet been vandalized too much. That was the case with this villa belonging to a former piano teacher at the conservatory. The natural decay set in quite quickly, after the thatched roof gave way in several places. Unfortunately, the villa was not spared from thieves, and vandals.
As always, I have focused my view of this house as much as possible on the decay and as little as possible on the personal... All in all, it has turned out to be quite an extensive series.
