This gigantic industrial site appears to house multiple companies. The oldest and, to my personal taste, the most beautiful part was one of the original coke factories that supplied fuel to the nearby steel factories. In the oldest buildings on the site the coke ovens can still be recognized.
One of these old buildings—clearly ravaged by fire—houses a treasure trove of beautiful rust and decay. Another, larger part of the site appears considerably more recent and points more towards chemical activity.
This section of the site was clearly abandoned not long ago. It is a location with a fairly high risk factor. The abundance of barbed wire is already a clear hint. Moreover, the ever-alert security is constantly present on the premises.
I have visited this location 4 times between 2017 and 2022 (one of which was for a full day) and still haven't seen everything... A very impressive site in any case, which could be explored multiple times.
