The history of Pete's Hotel dates back to 1876. The former café-fermette was gradually developed into a classy hospitality establishment. In its glory years, it even received a listing in the Michelin Guide. When the late Queen Fabiola visited the region in the 1970s, she lunched at the now-famous Hostellerie Le Bouquet.
Due to the advanced age of the owners and the lack of succession, the business was forced to close its doors in 2005. The building was sold, and rumors soon circulated that it would be demolished to make way for new apartment buildings. Twelve years later, the building is still standing, albeit in a very dilapidated state... The name Pete's Hotel is derived from the many works of the famous graffiti artist Pete One.
The former hotel/restaurant has since been demolished.
