Finding an old car somewhere always makes the day. Especially when it's such a beautiful vintage vehicle. This little old car is standing somewhere, abandoned and rusting away on a forest path... How, what, when, why? No idea... This doesn't strictly fall under urbex. After all, the area where the car is parked isn't abandoned. Fortunately, I am not a fan of the 'narrow' definition of urbex.
The car in question is a 1930 Peugeot 201 Torpédo Commercial. The Peugeot 201, Peugeot's first three-digit model with a 0 in the middle, was launched at the 1929 Motor Show. The public was immediately won over. The reception exceeded all of Peugeot's expectations. By March 1, 1930, 5,000 orders had already been registered, and the production rate continued to rise.
Thanks to the Peugeot 201, Peugeot was able to leave behind its status as a small industrialist and, thanks to this car, grew into one of the most important players in the automotive world.
