While traveling from one location to another, our attention was suddenly drawn to a building that looked decidedly abandoned and dilapidated. Naturally, we went to take a closer look. We found a beautiful, old waterwheel-powered corn mill. The building had already been partially emptied, but there were still some interesting spots worth photographing, not least the pumps and the waterwheel's drive system.
Remarkably little information about this mill can be found. It's a secondary location of a milling company that is still active. This secondary mill was decommissioned in December 2009 and has been awaiting a new purpose ever since. That seems to be on the horizon, as the entire facility was recently sold to a property developer.
