One of those buildings about which virtually no background can be traced. That's a shame, because besides exploring, it is precisely that history that interests me...
This must once have been a beautiful, stately manor house. Now, unfortunately, it has been reduced to a completely ransacked and destroyed mess. Over time, all sorts of little scenes were cobbled together in various places by people who wrongly call themselves 'urban explorers'. One of those scenes consisted of a wedding dress, which was displayed in one of the bedrooms. The name 'Mansion of the Bride' was derived from this scene. No matter how large the location is, it is almost like searching for a needle in a haystack to find anything 'photo-worthy' there...
Shortly after our visit to this farmhouse, we received news that the owners had completely emptied the property. After multiple attempts to seal the house and just as many break-ins, they had had enough. So, whatever was still worth photographing has now disappeared as well.
