This impressive manor house is part of a classicist farm complex dating from the mid-18th century. The extensive farm complex comprises a house, a carriage house, a gatehouse, and a caretaker's lodge on the street side. At the rear are several stables and a transverse barn converted into an antique shop. The old stables are still located at the rear of the property.
The mansion's luxurious finishes, including the intricately crafted marble and stucco mantelpieces, the slate floors, the wall and ceiling paintings, and the carved wood box bed, are a clear reminder of its bygone splendor. It's no wonder the entire building was designated a heritage site in 1981.
Little is known about the farm's early history. The entire property became vacant when the antique shop housed in the outbuildings went bankrupt in December 2019. Since then, this beautiful square farmhouse has been for sale.
