Rumor has it that the old lady who lived here moved into a nursing home at the age of 91. That was many years ago, as the house has been a well-known urban exploration destination for at least a decade. Apparently, she had no one left to care for her house and its contents. Left to the elements, the house quickly began to deteriorate. It has since become a veritable time capsule, even though few of her belongings remain where she left them. A regrettable combination of visitors with less than good intentions, searching for valuables, and the stagers who, for some reason, think their photos must be 'unique' (which they never are). Nevertheless, it was still worth a visit for the beautiful, ever-progressing decay. Was... Because after many years the new owners were suddenly faced with steep vacancy taxes and decided to demolish the cute little dwelling altogether.
