Unsightly little cottage, likely abandoned following the death of Julien, the last resident. Not spectacular, but with some nice details here and there, such as the 'Leuven Stove' and the old sewing machine... There were also a few barns attached to the cottage, but those were virtually empty.
My urbex heart beats mainly for industry, but on a lazy Sunday afternoon one might occasionally stumble upon a little house. What makes it fun in a way is that it is a new find. One where we know no one else has been before.
Upon leaving, we came across a little hedgehog that was clearly suffering from the heat. After placing him in a safe spot with some water and food, we hope the little animal made it. Hence the name 'Maison Hérisson'.
