In this old house, it seems as if time came to a stand still fifty years ago. Who lived there and why the cottage was allowed to deteriorate for so many years remains a mystery. As does the somewhat bizarre predilection for washing powder that the former resident seemed to have. In one of the bedrooms, we found a whole collection of washing powder from various brands such as Dash, Tide, Coral, and—after which the cottage was named—Biotex.
