During a road trip through eastern Germany, we passed a promising-looking industrial site. The warehouses on this site turned out to be predominantly empty. One of them even seemed to still be partially in use. In any case, they were busy clearing the grounds.
In the garage section of one of those warehouses stands this beautiful old hearse. While the rest of the building was completely vandalized, this hearse was miraculously spared... Spared from vandalism, at least. The ravages of time had clearly already taken their toll on this beauty. Why and for how long it has been standing here is a mystery. But what a lovely find, isn't it?
