For a historic building, remarkably little information can be found about this beautiful chateau with its accompanying Gothic chapel. This chateau, built of local sandstone, unfortunately fell victim to the flames in the summer of 2020. Exactly what happened is not entirely clear, but the public prosecutor's office has since confirmed that it was malicious. Very little of the chateau remains. One room, with a striking red sofa, and the annexed bathroom are just about the only remaining reminders of the faded splendor of this complex, now converted into a hotel and wedding venue. Fortunately, the magnificent Gothic chapel was spared.
