On the edge of the center of one of the most touristy towns in the Belgian Ardennes, we came across this abandoned hotel. The building isn't classified as a listed building or an architectural heritage site. Therefore, there's absolutely nothing to be found about its history. The 'problem' with these kinds of places (and also the reason I usually avoid them) is that piles of left behind junk entice some wannabe urban explorers to craft 'pretty scenes'. These scenes are abundant in this hotel, making the location rather uninteresting. The hotel was on our way back from France, where we'd spent a day admiring abandoned industrial heritage. To round off the day, we made a quick stop here and, after some hesitation, decided to take a few pictures, since we were already there anyway...
