This building, bearing the inscription '1919', originally housed the blast furnace company's power plant. Except for the old control panel, the entire installation was dismantled in the mid-1970s, during the modernization of the blast furnaces. The impressive hall, which stretches the length of the various blast furnaces, was then equipped with turbo blowers to blow hot air into the blast furnaces. Each blast furnace has a single set of turbo blowers.
