New discoveries are always the most fun explores. You see the location completely unbiased through images from other explorers. And you get to give the location a completely new name. 'Exidus' primarily refers to the company still present on the site. But also, it is a nod to a television program about urban exploring that was airing on the Belgian television at the time of the discovery.
This abandoned administrative building is situated on an industrial site that is still in operation. The building was likely part of a company that was previously located on the site. Archives dating back to the interwar period, long before the current company established itself here, were still present in the attic. The building was probably an administrative building, housing, among other things, the archives and company accounts. The oldest and most dilapidated part of the building was certainly reserved for the company physician and his department, judging by the presence of a medical office, a laboratory, and three changing rooms. The building displays a beautiful natural decay that is nowhere disturbed by signs of forced entry or vandalism of any kind.
