This location was given the name 'Chaudronnerie' because the company manufactured boilers for the nearby steel industry. However, this building is merely the administrative section of the former factory.
Judging by the presence of the many drawing boards, it is the section where the boilers were designed. I was unable to ascertain how long this site has been abandoned. It seems plausible that the company went under along with the decline of the steel industry, as that affected all peripheral businesses as well. The workshop itself is still in use (or back in use?).
Although the administrative building has suffered greatly from all kinds of vandalism, even arson, we were still able to take some nice shots...
