There is little to tell about this industrial laundry. Originally established as a family business, the laundry complex was primarily active in recent years cleaning and repairing the workwear of a few large companies in the area. Leftover Arcelor Mittal overalls suggest a link to the steel industry.

In 2016, the company was acquired by a large laundry group and operations were moved to another, more modern location. This laundry was left to its own devices. The manager, who lived in the company residence for a long time, passed away on April 25, 2021, two weeks after our visit, at the age of 82. His brother, who was also a managing director, still lives a stone's throw from the laundry.
